Energy is one of the most important controllable cost of doing business. Energy performance investments are opportunities to increase competitiveness by enhancing your overall bottom line. MG Energy Group provides solutions to our client’s energy needs.

Complete Energy Audit

An energy audit is the first step in a successful energy reduction plan. Energy audits are performed to ASHRAE standards and, depending on the client’s needs, vary in complexity. This is the map that charts the course to an energy efficient operation.

Testing and Evaluation

Often times it is necessary and cost effective to perform on site testing to determine various energy losses. Thermal imaging, blower door testing, flow hood testing, and building static pressure testing are a few of the methods employed.

Engineering and Design

The ECM(s) - Energy Conservation Measure - is identified and quantified by the audit and/or testing. This step takes the idea and commits the design to paper, assigns the realized cost, the energy savings, and the ROI is calculated.

Construction and Implementation

We use our experienced trade mechanics and supervisors to perform the construction or implement the ECM. We will partner with the owner’s staff to help minimize the cost.

Commissioning and Follow-Up

We use our technical staff/engineers with factory support to start up, tune, and commission the entire system to assure peak operating performance. We train the owner’s personnel on the operation and maintenance, provide 24/7 service support, and offer custom maintenance contracts.

Trouble-Shooting and Retro-Commissioning

We use our service staff and engineers to measure and trouble shoot existing systems. This allows us to correct deficiencies in the operation of the system(s). We fine tune each system to maximum efficiency.  We train the owner’s personnel on the operation and maintenance, provide 24/7 service support, and offer custom maintenance contracts.

Lighting Systems

Lighting Systems

You can reduce lighting energy use by selecting lighting and sources that use energy more efficiently, and by installing lighting controls.

The Department of Energy Consumption Survey shows that out of 4.7 million commercial buildings only 455,000 made lighting upgrades between 1980 and 2003. A high percentage of building have lighting systems more than 20 years old.

Over 70% of buildings and facilities are using outdated technology can realize significant savings through Lighting System upgrades.

Our goal is to provide our client the highest quality mechanical systems with professional integrity and honesty at optimum cost. As an industry leader in the mechanical contracting field we offer a full service approach to your mechanical systems requirements.
